After several books of slow-burn, it’s nice to see The Wheel of Time finally make progress. Characters who took over after Robert Jordan’s passing are reduced in number, giving the story a major boost in plot development. Knife of Dreams contains an intricate plotline worthy of epic novels; even though it doesn’t reach granddaddy-sized climax like other novels do, this book still gets plenty right and deserves its place among lucid dream songs. For someone like myself who has followed these books for many years, finding something so captivating left me speechless.

The Black Keys may not have been able to reunite for a tour, but they’ve made an appearance with a new single. “Lucid Dreams,” which explores the wonders of conscious dreaming, was released as an independent single and while it remains uncertain if this track will be part of The Black Keys’ forthcoming album or not, it is definitely worth checking out.
